In 1851 census index - Chute, WILTS Edith BAKER (b. ~1809 Walford BERKS was living with / married to Thomas BAKER (b. ~1793 Shalbourne, WILTS) in Chute. Thomas BAKER(b. ~1817 Collingbourne, WILTS) and Hannah BAKER (b. ~1825 Barton Stacy, HANTS) I think her maiden name may have been BALL (The IGI shows a Thomas BAKER marrying Hannah BALL 9 Oct 1843 in Collingbourne Kingston, WILTS) Their children were: Martha (b. ~1847 Chute, WILTS)) Mary (b. ~1849 Chute, WILTS) Maria (b. ~1851 Chute, WILTS) Not listed were George, Anne, Charles and Elizabeth (all born between 1854 and 1869) Maria BAKER(b. ~1782 Ludgershall, WILTS) Edward BAKER(b. ~1819 Collingbourne, WILTS) Sarah BAKER (b. ~1824 Tangley, HANTS - married to Edward?) and two additional children: John (b. ~1845 Chute, WILTS) Robert (b. ~1850 Chute, WILTS) If any of these names sound familiar, please let me know.
