Dear Phill, Although she is not in my direct line, I have some detail about a lady called ANN STURMEY. She married Henry PARSONS at Hinton Martell on July 19th, 1852, which is how she comes to be associated with my family. This Henry was a first cousin to my gt. grandfather, also Henry Parsons. According to the notes which I have from a direct descendant of Henry and Ann, she was born at Tarrant Monkton on May 6th, 1831, the daughter of Charles Sturmey and Louisa Brewer. Unfortunately, I can tell you no more. If this opens any doors, could you get back to me off-list? I shall have a word with my (by now) distant relation to see if her can add more to the tale.
