Hi, This newspaper clipping was on the Ontario, Canada list and thought it might be of interest to anyone searcing this name. I know of several Bradfords in England and not sure which one this about. Sherida ****** These clippings were saved in a book by my great-grandmother Sarah Elizabeth (SELBY) AGAR, or perhaps by her mother, Eliza (BELL) SELBY. Unfortunately, most are not dated and I do not know which newspaper they were from. However, I suspect that many of them were from The Alliston Herald. I will type them just as they appear -- spelling mistakes, punctuation and all! Patti Hand Mrs. William BALL The death of Mrs. William BALL at her home on the fourth line of Essa on Tuesday of last week, the 20th inst., was a shock to her relatives and friends. She had not been enjoying robust health for some time, but no thought of a fatal termination had been entertained. A few days before the end came she commenced to decline rapidly, the malady, goitre, having reached the stage where medical skill could no [sic] nothing to stay the progress and dissolution ensued. Mrs. BALL, whose maiden name was Mary MOORE, was born in Bradford, England, and came to Canada in 1904. She made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Thos. DUNN at Elmgrove and for the balance of her life Mrs. BALL and Mrs. DUNN held for each other the affection of mother and daughter. It was at the home of Mr. and Mrs. DUNN Mrs. BALL was married in 1907. Most of her married life was spent on the farm on the fourth line of Essa which her husband works with energy and success. Besides her husband she leaves one son, Willie, and two sisters and two brothers in the old country. The funeral took place Thursday afternoon last. Service was held at the home by Rev. A. C. McCOLLUM, rector of St. Peter's church of which Mrs. BALL was an active member. Interment was made in the Alliston cemetery, the pall bearers being Herbert DUNN, John DUNN, Samuel DUNN, John BALL, George BALL and Leonard BALL. *****
