Hello all, Can anyone help me with my brick wall! I have Thomas Alfred Cawte age 16 in the 1891 census, but cant find him in the 1881 census. What I am looking for is Agnes Louisa Grace Cawte age 32 Thomas Alfred Cawte age 6. Bessie J. Cawte age 1, their father was a marine fireman so he is probably at sea. My line of thinking is that maybe there were older children than Thomas as on their marriage cert of Agnes and John they were married in 1870, which means they would have been married for 5 years without any children. Help, he has to have been somewhere. Thanks Annette.
