Hi Listers, In conjunction with the question as to how sailors at sea were handled on the census, I would be interested in knowing the same information regarding those who served in the military. Did the military conduct its own census and publish it separately? If so, where would I be able to find that information? Thanks, Mary Lu in California

Hi, I couldn't find my relative in 1881 census. Later found he was with the Military, serving in India at the time. So my belief is that those serving overseas are not included in the Census. Happy to hear to the contrary though.
