Hi Listers. Many thanks to all who have assisted in tracing the above family. It would appear that John Bodger arrived in Llandaff betweem 1851 and 1855, from Somerset, married Catherine and started producing children, as confirmed by the census figures of 1861, 1881 and 1891 I am almost certain now that John Bodger's grandfather, also named John, who was born in Kingston St Mary, Somerset in 1765 is the earliest ancestor that I can find.
