A "Parish Register Printout" or "Computer Printout" is the information extracted by the LDS extraction teams for inclusion on the IGI. The description of the films will inform you of which microfilm number the information has been extracted. The only advantage you get from these films is that the information is typed, and therefore easy to read, as well as confined to the one Parish. However, all the extra bits and pieces of information recorded by the Parish Priest, such as residence, occupation, additional family relationships etc is omitted. Therefore I discourage people from ordering these films.
