Neither Wadwick or Warwick, Hants is listed in Cassell's Gazetteer c 1900, but 'tis certainly there on the map, however Wadwick appears to be missing from where it should be and Warwick stands in its place! Having written to Carol and said I've found your Warwick the thought occurs to me - have I found Warwick which is really Wadwick ie an error in the Ordnance Survey map or are these alternative names - or what? If anyone has an OS map of the area in the middle of Andover, Newbury, Basingstoke, Whitchurch and can identify farms and hamlets in the Binley, Egbury, Lichfield triangle I should be most grateful if little light could be shone on the conundrum?
