I have just discovered from the 1851 census of Islington, London that my 2G-Grandfather, James BUSH was born "Somerset, Bath" about 1818 (he shows as being 33 in the census). He married Henrietta RUSSELL 30 Sept, 1844 in Camberwell, Surrey and in 1851 was living at 4 Alpha Place, Islington, Middx. where he was a greengrocer. His father was Thomas BUSH and he was a Mason. His baptism does not appear on the IGI. Does anyone have any possibility of a connection? Can anyone suggest a good place to start the search in Bath?
