(Crossposted) I have been loaned a book entitled 'From Normandy to Hanover'. It is the story, similar to a war diary, of the 7th Battalion, the Somerset Light Infantry from June 1944 to May 1945, and contains amongst other things the complete battle honours of the battalion between those dates. The book was privately published. Before I return the volume to it's owner, I am willing to do lookups.
