Hi Regret the following is going to be a bit contentious, however, I think list members should be aware of what I have done and intend doing. It is apparent that if a message is sent to someone who has the virus that the virus will then reply to the writer attaching itself. I have, therefore, removed a number of list members this afternoon who I know have the virus and I will remove any list member who I find has the virus in the future. I have written separately to these members and am awaiting the pay back at the present time in the form of another virus! Once a member has cleaned his/her machine they can resubscribe BUT only by writing to me - a normal subscribe message will not be accepted by Rootsweb. My apologies for this rather drastic action - but if this reduces the chances of infection and quantity of virus prompted mail I am prepared to accept that.
