I should, therefore, be grateful if we didn't continue with this thread as I have a feeling it might go a little OTT, as no doubt different people will have "very" different points of view and although I'd like to have my 2d worth (or 2c) I can't see an obvious Wessex connection :-)) But since John raises the point, although there are still a number of restrictions on where you can walk etc, many are being lifted as I write and Spring is certainly the best time to visit the ol' country with everything so green and fresh. Unfortunately I don't think anyone has told the weather yet, as its still feels a mite chilly these days and especially at night - 0-4C for tonight's forecast, so don't forget to cover those tender plants :-) Ooops off-topic again - perhaps that should be on the alt.gardening ng. Paul Portland Wessex LO OTT = over the top ie go too far! For 19th Century Newspaper Extracts see: http://members.netscapeonline.co.uk/pbtyc/News_Extracts/News_Extracts_Index.html
