Has anyone come across any connections with JOHN BOY (b 1766, chairmaker in Devizes) m. Sarah Stevens (b Marlborough) whose son William Boy went to London, from Marlborough and became a clock maker. The records for the family seem to switch quite happily from Boy to Boys to Boyes according to who was doing the paperwork at the time. I am researching my London/East End family from the point of view of migration routes to the capital and rural workers. I wait with bated breath!! Any ideas gratefully received. Thanks Barbara Walker
