    3. Does anyone have access to the above? I'm trying to help a friend track down his gtgtgtgrandfather, George Derrick, who very inconsiderately eloped with Charlotte Emma Gain, of Minstead Hampshire, to Brightingsea, Sussex, where they married in 1838. Their marriage certificate reveals absolutely nothing about them - no ages, occupations or parents. It was clearly a forbidden love match. By 1851 Charlotte was to be found living in Sixpenny Handley, along with her two daughters, Selina (b. 1840 in Iwerne) and Georgiana (b. 1844?) and her son Lewis George (b. 1842 in Woodcutt, Handley), but there is no sign of George. I would be most grateful if anyone having access to the 1841 census would kindly check these villages to see whether George's parish of origin is given. Without this we are completely stuck on this, my friend's main line. Cheers Annette of Wales
