Hi, The Hill Paul building in question was in Stroud, Glos, not Calne. If you ever travelled to Stroud railway atation, you could not miss it - a real landmark and a trajedy if it were to be demolished. The firm was, indeed, a textile firm, but I am afraid I do not have any details.
