    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Bible Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WBWBAEB/51.1 Message Board Post: That's a very interesting item! Most often name changes happen due to a variety of happenstances. The one who recorded census misspells the name or the one who wrote it in some document lacked good penmenship, and so on. I would welcome learning what evidence you have and I need to know if this line you are a part of is from any Wessnerville famlies whose spellings are documented as WESSNER? My line begins with Mahlon Wessner, a tailor, b. 29 Nov 1819 in Amity Twp., Berks Co., married to Mary Ann Fisher b. 1821 at Falkner Swamp Church Lutheran Church, in Montgomery County, Pa. You can read further on this line at: Mahlon Wessner on Rootsweb and there is a gedcom file you can download. I would appreciate learning more? Diane Wesner Marshall
