Hi All Here is a question that has baffled me for quite some time now, George W Wesner was born May 7, 1765 in Supposivly Chester Co, PA. He then married on Mar 15, 1793 in Bourbon Co, Ky. This is quite plausible. This Johann George (son of Johann Jacob and grandson of Martin) would be the brother of Matthias and Johann Michael. I don't have any info on brother Johann Georg except the following: JOHAN GEORG was born in Gundelshausen (near Stuttgart), Wurttemberg (Germany) March 7, 1733. After his parents' deaths, he was raised by half-brother Christian. It is believed that Johan Georg is the Johan Gorg Wissner who immigrated to America on the Ship Priscilla, sailing from Rotterdam, Netherlands via Cowes, England, landing in Philadelphia, PA September 12, 1750. This is the same ship on which brothers Johannes and Johann Michael sailed. Johan Georg was probably called George as was Johann Michael called Michael. I have nothing on his descendants. Hi, My Wesner line starts with Judith Wesner a sister of Jacob and George Wesner. She was born about 1761 in PA. She was married May 1777 in Hagerstown, Washington, MD to George Miller. The bought a lot in Jerusalem (Funkstown) 1785 and sold it about 1795 and the family moved to Muhlenberg County, KY. They moved to Crawford County, IL about 1818. They moved later to Franklin County, MO where they died and are buried. I have more if anyone is interested. Jo Ann Clark

Robert, Charlotte, et al, I have some info on Johann Michael on my laptop here in Tulsa but the rest is at my home in Virginia. I don't have a George listed as a son of Johann Michael and Ruth Pike. This is what I have: Johann Michael Weesner (Weisner) and Ruth Pike had the following children: i. MICAJAH was born January 20, 1762 ii. JOHN was born January 30, 1764 iii. ABIGAIL was born in Orange County, NC February 22, 1766. Abigail died March 3, 1843 at 77 years of age. She married WILLIAM GARDNER JR. November 14, 1789. William was born June 1768. William died March 2, 1845 at 76 years of age. iv. WILLIAM was born in Orange County, NC June 6, 1768. William died March 24, 1789 at 20 years of age. v. RUTH was born in Orange County, NC September 19, 1770. She married THOMAS MORGAN November 14, 1787. I could check further when I get back to Virginia in another week. Hi Jerry, Where is GLEN MILLS, Pa. in relationship to Albany Twp. Berks Co.? "Back in the old days", there was WESSNERSVILLE (today it's called Stony Run) where Wesner's resided. From the info that I have, they were Quakers, although when the original immigrants came from Germany, they were Lutheran and joined the Quakers here. There is a 1790 Census for Berks Co. with many Wesner's (and a few various spellings of the name). A person I was corresponding back in 1999 by the name of Todd L. Keller, visited this place, the Quaker church (Friends) and cemetery where the parents of a fellow by the name of Mathes b. Aug. 1, 1757 was born who married Christina Schollenberger. Mr. Keller furnished this info. Which line of Wesner's are you researching? I'm still looking for the parents of a MAHLON WESNER, b. 1819 (my line).
