He was the brother of Pleasant Wells, both born in Kentucky, eventually migrated to Sonoma county, Ca. Pleasant was married to Ann (or Ann Mariah depending who you are talking to) I know Clarkston married a woman with the last name Crumrine. She was the sister of my great grandmother Estelle "Stella" Isabelle Crumrine. They both came from Iowa. Stella married Herbert Guy Norris in 1911, eventually settling in Seattle.
