I'm slow as molasses! But I don't believe we have the same family of Welles. Mine is almost an unknown to me, but form what I have learned he came from Bourbon or Whitley County Kentucky. He had a son who married in Greene Co, Indiana to Sarah Jane Walker. Soon name was James Wells. Good Luck on your search.
