Wells, who was born in Albany, NY, in Feb, 1884, to Addison and Emma Wells. He was unmarried and still living in Albany as of the 1920 census, but I have found him in Montgomery, Alabama, in the 1930 census, married to a woman named Marie who had been previously married and had a 19-year-old son named Alexander Hannon.
