John BROUGHTON was, according to the record of his marriage to Mary WELLS in Cosgrove, Northamptonshire, in 1710, from the village or parish of Chicheley in Buckinghamshire. Unfortunately, this is where the trail grows cold: there are very few surviving parish records for Chicheley or the surrounding parishes, let alone records of any Broughtons. I was wondering, has anybody seen the Bishop's Transcripts, wills, etc, that might mention this particular John? I really have no idea how to proceed, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
