His great-grandfather John M. Wells was born in 1830 in Autauga County, Alabama, and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery here in Paris. If there are relatives from North Carolina, I haven't found them yet, as I'm still stuck on John M.'s father John, born in Wilkes County, GA in 1790. My husband submitted DNA to ancestry.com, but I'm not clear about exactly what I'm supposed to do with it at this point.
