Does anyone know anything about a furniture store that used to be or maybe is still located in Zanesville, Ohio called Wells Furniture (and Carpet)? Someone refinishing a bookcase that I would guess may have been sold around the turn of the century (20th) found on the back a sticker indicating it had been sold by the Wells' Furniture and Carpet Company in Zanesville, Ohio. On the sticker it says "BIG STORE" "WE SELL FOR LESS" I am wondering who founded that store, when it operated and when it went out of business or was sold and to whom. I can't find anything on it.
