Good advice ... I NEVER click on a URL unless I feel confident of the site .... but even then I put my cursor on the URL as sometimes if it is scam, the actual URL that it will go to is not what is listed as the URL. You also need to be very careful as these scammers will put different letters or numbers along with a known site. So, the best thing to do is to just don't click on the URL from the message but if it says to go to rootsweb.com ... open up your browser and put in the address you know is correct. This will avoid scams and going to scammer website that are just trying to get your login/password or worse yet, put a virus on your computer. In fact, be careful of one that tells you to open an attachment as it could have a program embedded in the attachment. Thanks, I thought it looked suspicious this morning in my email. My son told me if it states NO Subject- just delete it.
