It will compare your Dad's DNA to all the 625 members. Most are part of the Wells Surname DNA study http://www.wells.org of which Orin Wells is the coordinator. Send him a copy of the DNA results and send me a gedcom or the Wells descendants from John b: 1790 in GA. Orin will assign you an ID and give you the associated WELLS family that you belong to based on your Dad's DNA results. I will put your data into the Merge database which has a majority of the DNA participant's lineage ... and some that could not find a 'living Wells male' to do the test. Once you get the DNA Family, you can contact the other researchers by clicking on the ID number in the spreadsheets Orin has on the wells.org website under Project Status ... just click on NEXT until you find the sheet that has your DNA family. Then click on the ID number and you can send a message to the researcher associated with that test.
