Tues, February 22, 2006 Cadiz, Harrison County, Ohio RALPH J. WELLS, " Clipper ", age 77, of Main Street, Scio, died Monday, February 21, 2006, after a brief ilness. Born October 19, 1928 at Carrollton a son of Lester C. and Mary O. ( Brown ) Wells. He was a World War II U. S. Army Mlitary Police, serving in Germany before and after the German surrender. He was owner and operator of Ralph's Barber Shop in Scio for over 50 years. A member and Elder of Scio Presbyterian Church, he was active in the Masonic Lodge at Carrollton, being a past master. Also the Royal Arch in Carrollton and Eastern Star, being a past master. Surviving are his wife, Geraldine ( Henderson ) Wells ; three children, Mary Ann ( Roy ) Wilson of Bolivar : Carol Sue Wells Baker of Scio : Terry Lee ( Janet ) Wells of Dennison ; sister, Mary Ellen of Pompano Beach, FL ; 5 grandchildren ; 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two brothers, and an infant sister. Services at Scio Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jack Visser officiating. Burial at Westview Cemetery Carrollton, Ohio. Koch Funeral Home at Scio in charge of arrangements where Masonic Services will be Thursday.
