    2. Sonja, I thought our Thomas Wells did not arrive in Tennessee (from Indiana) until the 1820s. Do you think he may have gone to Tennessee by 1808 and then returned to Indiana? I seem to recall another Thomas Wells who was in Franklin Co., TN but I can't remember the date. I believe he was in Tennessee fairly early. Been off working on my Casey line so need to refresh my memory about the Wells "stuff". A Thomas Wells is listed as an auxiliary name on a 1908 land grant in Bedford County, Tennessee. Anthony Nunom (sic) is also named as an auxiliary on the same grant. I suspect this is Thomas Wells of Lincoln County, Tennessee. Sonja
