    2. That's the way I have handled it but if they are making mtDNA searchable later on-I would think they would need a way to link the kit submissions to the gedcoms sent in? Mary Beth

    3. Mary Beth: When I ordered for my daughter-in-law, I put her maiden name in parenthesis like one would for a married female. Of course, the gedcom should contain your birth / baptized name. It is the gedcom information that goes online ... or will be used when the mtDNA database is up for searching.
