Hi Thomas, Of course we don't know yet who my husband's John Wells b. ca 1795 died 1845 is descended from. But one of the other reseachers told us that his grandfather's father, Daniel James Wells, son of the above John, who was born abt. 1837 and died in 1909 had told him that his grandfather was a Daniel, and was a tall man. Two of the children of this John Wells b. abt. 1795 died 1845 said John was born in Maryland. My husband's DNA matches another Wells from Baltimore area, MD. I wonder if your Daniel and my husband's John could be brothers? Have you had your DNA done to see where you line up? Thanks, Kathy Wells. ----- Original Message ----- From: <ogro69@outdrs.net> To: <WELLS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 04, 2006 11:07 AM Subject: [WELLS-L] Wells family Maryland 1679-1836 > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: wells/adamson > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SCWBAIB/4399 > > Message Board Post: > > I found a book that talks about Wells family in Anne Arundel, Maryland > from 1679-1834.
