The cost ONLY if you go through me to get the testing organized and coordinated - you pay Relative Genetics - is $95 for the 26 marker test or $135 for the 43 marker test. Now, the 26 marker test is often sufficient to nail the family but the 43 marker test sometimes is a help to separate close haplotypes. Also send him through the Sorenson testing. This is free and we will eventually get the 43 markers from them too. Only problem is it is at least a 6 month wait. But if cost is an issue, the $95 would be good enough and tells us what to look for in the Sorenson database later.
