Surnames: Wells, Tackett Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SCWBAIB/4461 Message Board Post: looking for Charles Wells.Charles is my grandfather. just found this out in the last year or so.Charles was an electrician by trade and may have ties to the Scioto, Clark, Montgomery, & Greene counties in Ohio. not sure if Charles was married to my grandmother. my father was born in 1946. my grandmother worked at wright patterson air force base in the Dayton / Fairborn area of Greene & Montgomery counties. Charles would have been around 35 years of age when my father was born. there was supposed to have been a blood test done in Springfield, Ohio before my father was born. i am assuming that this was for a marriage certificate, but can not find any marriage certificate or divorce record anywhere. my father would like to have any info that i can find. Charles is supposed to be deceased now, but i have no idea when he died. my grandmother won't share any info on him for whatever reason. i also know that Charles had two sisters or half sisters by the name of carol & barbara mcm! ann/ mcmannus (not sure which) and the girls would have went to school in the clay township area of scioto county around the lowery hollow area. my grandmothers name was eula tackett at the time. i know this is a lot of info but i am at a brick wall now and it seems almost impossiable to find Charles. What is your fathers name? Grandmothers Date of Birth? Do you know where Charles Place of Birth was? I looked at Ancestry but it would be easier with at least an idea of where he was born? Could not find anything on a Eula Tackett does she have a middle name?
