    3. Orin What is the current status for DNA results and how many are still pending lab results? A suggestion - consider indicating for each entry of the DNA results matrix indicators for results posted in other databases (Y-Base, Sorenson, etc) along with the reference number where applicable. Any update on Bonita's giant project? What is new on the "Marker" front? Any news or developments on Phase III testing? Dick

I don't think they have had very many months without Wells samples. I have signed up 401 participants so far. There are some dragging their heels and some I have had to push over to Sorenson just to get it done. >A suggestion - consider indicating for each entry of the DNA results >matrix indicators for results posted in other databases (Y-Base, >Sorenson, etc) along with the reference number where applicable. Have to think about that. Things are getting pretty busy so maybe when we get the links for the genealogy going we can include this. >Any update on Bonita's giant project? She sort of went to sleep on me. I think she may be busy with something else right now, but I am not sure. I am going to be travelling for the next three weeks. When I get back and get caught up (I dread to see what happens to my email while I am off line for more than a day or two) I will lean on her and try to get it going again. >What is new on the "Marker" front? Nothing at Relative Genetics and I am not going to advocate updates until I see evidence that more markers are going to help in some way. In a number of cases I don't think more markers are going to be warranted. In others it may help but only if I am convinced they are not just marketing more markers to be competetive. >Any news or developments on Phase III testing? We have a test case I have proposed to Sorenson and they may be ready to tackle it in a couple of months. But they are two years away from being able to do anything serious there I think. >Dick > > >==== WELLS Mailing List ==== > Don't Forget > The Wells Family Research Association > http://www.rootsweb.com/~wellsfam/wfrahome.html Orin R.
