Seeking information on Ransom Wells, born circa 1803, probably in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. I descend from his son William H. Wells. It appears Ransom may have had 2 wives name Adeline; one he supposedly married in Kentucky circa 1826 and later a Mrs. Adaline Hall (26 years his junior) in 1857 in Johnson County, Missouri. Right after his first wife died he married a Mrs. Martha Goodnight on October 16, 1854. Don't know what happened to that marriage since he was getting married again 3 years later. Ransom died in Kob Noster, Johnson County, Missouri Feb. 19, 1881. Any information on Ransom and who his parents were and who his first wife was would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much! Donna
