I had forgotten about THIS Joshua Wells. He was born 29 Oct 1733 in Westerly, Kings Co., (it became Washington co. after the revolution), RI, son of Thomas Wells and Phebe Greene. There is some disagreement about his wife. Some show her as Elizabeth Dartts and some as Elizabeth Partlow. I have not seen a document that nails this. I only know about two sons of Joshua and Elizabeth. Gardner Wells b: 20 Mar 1770, Hopkinton. Joshua Wells b: 17 Jul 1771, Hopkinton. Gardner or Gardiner Wells married Wealthy Gallup 23 Dec 1792 in Hopkinton. I don't know if I have any additional information on Gardner or Joshua.
