Served in Union Army from July 16, 1861 to October 18, 1861 in "Captain Stone's Calvalry"/"Ozark Co. Home Guards" as Private. Married Mary Elizabeth Jarvis b. 16 Feb 1824 in KY or TN d. 18 May 1892 Buried in Miner Cem, Dent Co, MO Had 8 children. Jacob W. Wells Sarah J. Wells Sylvester Wells Cornelius Wells Mary Elizabeth Wells George Wells Cynthia A. Hope this helps, Chelsea OT PS. I found some more info on my line. My Jacob married Mary Jane?? Jacobs parents were Alexander Wells m. Ann Flanagan Alexander was the son of Jacob Wells m. Mary Bowzer Jacob was the son of Henry Wells who was the son of the original Jacob Wells from Switzerland. If anyone can give me more info on the line and the woman who married in I would appreciate it!!
