Surnames: Wells, Skelton Classification: Death Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SCWBAIB/4336 Message Board Post: My maternal Grandfather was William Jennings Wells ( 1898 -1937 ). He was supposedly the son of John T. Wells, and his 2nd wife, Mary Skelton, and was born in Indiana. I say supposedly, but THAT'S a whole 'nother mystery! Mary's maiden name was Hesson, 1st husband a John West, 2nd husband an Elijah Melvin Skelton, and 4th husband a William Fields. ;-D John's 1st wife is unknown to me, but their children were Charles and Muriel. John, and Mary may have also had a daughter named Blanche, after their marriage, when ever that was ( 1900-05 ). Anyway, on my Blog, this morning, I have posted a series about William's death.
