From: Newark Advocate (Newark, Ohio) Sept. 26, 2005 Alfred Wells Feb. 7, 1910 - Sept. 24, 2005 A funeral service for Alfred Wells, 95, of Pataskala, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Kirkersville Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta Funeral & Cremation Service, with Pastor M. Stephen Merold officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery. Mr. Wells died Sept. 4, 2005, at the Pataskala Oaks Care Center. He was born Feb. 7, 1910, in Licking County, to the late Charles C. and Marilla (Glynn) Wells. Mr. Wells was a graduate of Kirkersville High School. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Outville Presbyterian Church, Sportsmans Club of Pataskala, Licking County Grange and served on the board of the Kirkersville Association. He is survived by a niece, Paula Wells, of Columbus; a nephew, Gary (Beth) Wells, of Hebron; and by several cousins. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home, 285 E.
