Champ Funeral services for Beulah J. Champ, 86, of Junction City, are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Chapel, 203 N. Washington St. Robert Champ will officiate. Mrs. Champ died Sept. 22, 2002, at her home. She was born Dec. 31, 1915, in Geary County, daughter of James B. and Lusettie (Wells) Fulkerson. On Jan. 1, 1936, she married Marion Champ in Junction City; he preceded her in death Feb. 19, 2002. A resident of Junction City most of her life, she was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church and The Eastern STar. Survivors include one son, James Champ of Enterprise; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 tonight at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Casket bearers will be Robert Champ, James Champ, Thomas Champ, Doug Harrison, Ryan Harrison and Duane Long. Music will be provided by organist Florence Whitebread.
