Wells News has been received of the death of Robert C. Wells, 74, originally of Junction City. Wells died June 15, 2003, at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial in Ormond Beach, Fla. He was born in Junction City and graduated from Junction City High School in 1947. He served in the U.S. Air Force 1948-1954, then worked for United Technologies Corp., Hartford, Conn., for 36 years, retiring in 1992. He moved to Daytona Beach, Fla., in 1995. Survivors include two daughters, Sherlene Hartigan of New Hampshire and Peri-Ann Fessenden of Massachusetts; and two grandchildren. Memorial donations may be sent to Florida Hospital Memorial Hospice Care, 785 W. Granada Blvd., Suite No. 5, Ormond Beach, Fla. 32174.
