Wells is my 3x great-grandfather. I think that you are right, at least that Susan Zilhart married John. I have his wife's name as Susan with no known last name, and their son, my 2x great-grandf., is Wesley ZELLHART Wells. Your Susan and my Susan also have similar birth dates, so that is most likely what happened there. So that means that if John Zilhart isn't John S. Wells' father, I have no clue who is. At least I have another branch to add, though, with the Zilhart connection. Thanks for your help. Michelle Wells
