Wells? I am thinking this may be the William Rossman Wells b: 20 Oct 1820 Maryland m: Sarah DeCamp. They had a son Christopher Columbus Wells b: Cir 1841. But I am not aware they lived in either Ross or Licking Counties - rather in Coshocton and Muskingum counties. And Christopher married a woman named Malvina. So it probably is a different family. The connections to Licking and Ross counties leads me to suspect it may be a branch of the "Little Wells" family. You might want to post this query on the little-wells list on Roots web. I am unaware of a Christopher C. Wells in that family, but others may.
