Do you have any information on the divorce of Sarah Holmes and James F. Wells? I know he went to Clarion, PA and married a widow Elizabeth (Waters) Cobaugh who had two children: Catherine and Henry. Her husband was Henry Cobaugh who died in April 1850 of typhoid. Her parents were Godfrey and Catherine (?) Waters of Clarion. Where do Dr. Daniel and Ira come into the picture? I wonder if they may be related to James' and William's parents, James Wells and Persis Earle? I know father James was supposedly born 13 Mar 1792 in NH or CT. She was also born in 1792 in Windsor Co., VT .. they married in Dec 1810 in Windsor Co., VT. Her father was John Earle s/o of Esck Earle. If you find anything more on Sarah, please let me know.
