He died between 1863 and 1865. The only way he could have died earlier was to not be the father of a child born in 1864. The reason it could have been as late as as 1865 is because his widow Sarah Wells Blanset married Isaac McBee in 1865. James and Sarah were the parents of Lourina and Mary Catherine BLANSET. Mary married Abraham HARRIS in TN. Thanks
