I am researching my HEDGES family and have a Matthew Hedges WELLS (son of Isreal -may be Israel, and Charlotte HEDGES.). He was born in 1809, in Baiting Hollow, Suffolk, NY. and married a Hannah M ?, who was born in 1815 in Maine. What I really want to know is just who is Hannah? Does anyone have this family and could assist me by telling me her surname? They had children Esther and Peter - Peter was born in Canada, don't know where though.
