This is my line. I descend from Susannah Wells, daughter of Featherton Wells and Wilmuth ______Wells. Some say her maiden name was Fite. I have no hard evidence of this. Susannah Wells married Daniel Fields Christenbury. They had a son named Joseph Benson Christenbury who was my gggrandfather. Burrell, Featherston and Wilmuth buried at Wells Cemetery on Limestone Road in Belmont, NC, Gaston County. Burrell Wells December 9, 1827 76 yrs of age Featherstone Wells November 3, 1855 Age 81 yrs 10 mos Wilmuth January 31, 1818 Wife of Featherstone Wells Maternal branch of my family bears the name of Moore. Do you know the names of the parents of John Franklin Moore who founded Mooresville, NC? I think I knew at one time but have forgotten. Supposed to be some kind of cousin of mine.
