Susannah Featherston married Burrell Wells in 1767 in Lincoln County, NC. Burrell Wells was born in Amelia County, VA in 1740, died in Lincoln County, NC 12/09/1827. Burrell and Susannah's son, Featherston Wells, born in 1779 in Lincoln County, NC and died in Gaston County in 1855. Featherston Wells' daughter, Willy, married James D. Connelly of Alexander County, NC, and my great-grandfather, Leander R. Connelly, was their son, his daughter, Catherine, was my grandmother, of Statesville. He was also previously married to Miss Mary Moore, daughter of John Franklin Moore, for whom Mooresville, NC is named. Any relatives of this managerie of Wells' out there?
