He was married to Rose/Rosa Jane (surname ?), b. 1868 in CA. Her maiden name was Peyton. In 1911, her married name was Rose Baily(sp?). In October of 1940, she and Charles were living in Fetters Hot Springs, Sonoma County, CA. She died there in June 1943 and Charles S. was listed as her husband.
