There is a Samuel Wells who owned land in Bracken Co in 1790 (though I do not find that he ever lived there), and Joseph Wells Sr (and Jr ) lived there starting in 1797. I would like to know is this the same Joseph Wells as was in Mason Co, KY (who m. Susannah Downing) or a different man? Any leads on the Joseph Wells of Bracken Co would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
