Donald A. Wells, July 30, 1921 - July 14, 2006. Don was born in Tacoma. He graduated from Stadium High in 1940, then enlisted in the Army. He was trained in electronics and served in the 8th Air Force in England. After his return he met and married Germaine Eicher on Dec. 24, 1948. Working first in electronics, he later changed to Technical Writing, retiring in 1988. Don was an active United Methodist, an actor, an amateur photographer, and life member of 8th AF Historical Socity. He is survived by his wife Germaine (Gerry) of Orting, son James Steven of Tacoma, daughters Diane Robinson of Cottage Grove, OR, and Janis Tena of Imperial Beach, CA. Don is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
