She was born Oct 1817, in either Proctorsville or Cavendish, VT. Her parents are William Wells (probably b. bef 1789) and his wife Nancy L (b. abt 1789). I found this William in Cavendish in 1810, 1820 and 1830 Census. In 1840 he is not listed in Cavendish and might be dead. His wife Nancy and daughter Louisa left the area . In 1850 they are in Lawrence MA, in 1860 in Lowell, MA and in 1870 in Dracut, MA. Nancy died in Dracut in 1872. Any info on William and Nancy would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!
